High-tech Facial! I used to have a severe case of sinusitis that a doctor diagnosed as frontal sinusitis. The burden of medication left me not caring for my face for the past year. I did not bother what I looked like. My last face-related pampering was the removal of unwanted blackheads two years ago. Evangeline, my NeoGenesis Specialist at Soneva Organic Spa advised me to have my face contoured and revitalized with the new high-tech facial treatment. I was informed by a friend that the treatment really costs P8,000 but the ongoing introductory rate is just a little more than P1,000 only! Soon, I was on the relaxing spa treatment bed at Soneva Organic Spa and experiencing it for myself -- the exfoliation, infusion of essential revitalizing nutrients, and skin oxygenation. The treatment's technology interestingly comes from Israel which caught me by surprise when I found out about it because I only know the country to be about religion and cave scrolls. Upon further research, I realised that much of the world's high-tech devices and technology, even armaments, were created by natives of Israel. The NeoGenesis treatment just started this month of March, 2014 and already, a lot of returning customers had satisfying appointments with the spa for radiant skin. I was told by Evangeline that, so far, all clients have been females. This means, I'm the first man on the facial moon there! In the middle of the treatment, the specialist told me that minutes from now, my face would have a youthful glow. I then mulled over my future outside the spa -- attracting amazed onlookers LOL! The contouring motions generated by the high-tech nozzle of the machine served me well upon seeing my face in the mirror on site. My jaw skin was not sagging that much anymore. And I noticed a youthful radiance, so much so that I enjoyed my complimentary Jasmine tea after the treatment. I only started to love the art of traveling last year after walking away from five years of night shift work for an American boss. My travels during my employment with the Makati-based office were confined among the office headquarters, fast food joints in the area, the favorite Middle Eastern restaurant of my boss and his house. I was a wreck towards the end. I wanted to reach out to the world but my vision seemed out of alignment. I had to make a decision to let go of something and embrace another venture. To find the time to do it. To be firm and pursue the venture with passion. And with passion I did pursue traveling!
Most of my out-of-town getaways are in coastal towns so recently I had a lot of chances to visit different beaches in mainland Luzon. So far, Agas Beach's secluded island shoreline is my favorite, with its pristine waters, smooth and white sand, and hush-hush location. When me and my family visited the place from another island in Oriental Mindoro aboard a boat, we were the only ones there. Beef Crazy Minus the eggs and green peas, my brother, Dave, cooked for me this homemade beef chow fan rice that energized me one day when I got sick. No one was at home and I'm not friends with the kitchen, so I had him whip up anything for me that's on the fridge. Viola! Ground beef never tasted so yummy. It beats any fast food fried rice that I've tasted. Not even Chowking can compare. Believe me. The bowl was empty in less about 10 minutes. I guess this is something that I share with my brother -- a reliability to cook something in minutes. |
